QUALITY AND STAFFING

Aqua Mark Cleaning (UK) Limited has a carefully maintained quality management system, we are currently preparing for ISO 9000/9002 accreditation.

Our area managers constantly monitor standards, and ensure all aspects of the specification both daily and periodic are completed.

We have found through many years of experience that by providing our staff with attractive wage rates, combined with an effective training programme, close supervision, and encouragement from management, we have created a stable workforce with good knowledge of customers and their requirements.

 

We are well aware of the nature of average staff within our industry, great care is taken in the selection process, security of client’s premises is particularly important to us.  Wherever possible staff are recruited from within Aqua Mark Cleaning (UK) Ltd by personal contact. Potential staff must meet the following criteria before being considered.

Recruits must:
  • Live close to the contract site
  • Intend employment with Gleam Clean Services to be permanent and not a temporary fill-in
  • Prove they live at the address they provide.
  • Be able to understand and speak English adequately
  • Be fit, healthy and well presented.
 Recruits are subject to a full interview, reference and training procedure.  Engagement forms are completed with detailed terms and conditions.  All wages are paid weekly. National insurance numbers are established to preclude the engagement of non bona-fide staff.

 

The training procedure includes Health and Safety requirements, the standards of presentation and courtesy we expect when on clients premises, and instructions for emergency situations
